Printmaking Group Show 2021

SPRING EXHIBITION MAY 2021

We are pleased to be exhibiting a group show of printmaker artists Brad Teare, Sarabeth Clevenger, Rachel Godrey, Jennifer Worsley, Sarah Winegar, and Rob Chipman.

Printmaking is a fine art process that allows the artist to produce multiple copies of their original image, each signed and numbered. Come and see the different techniques of this art form of block printing by these talented artists.

The artists will be conducting a short presentation about the process of printmaking throughout the night.

Opening Reception will be from 6 to 9 PM and will be on display until June 16th, 2021.

Honoring Utah Artists 2020

Our 9th annual Honoring Utah Artists exhibition is on display until January 8th. This year we selected 14 artists and displayed a collection of their artwork in small vignettes throughout the gallery. Participating artists include Angela Woods, Brad Teare, Brandt Berntson, Cassandria Parsons, Cristall Harper, David Estes, Don Miskin, Erin W. Berrett, Gisele DaSilva, Jennifer Seeley, Joshua Dennis, Rob Chipman, Stephanie Hock, and Suzanne Tornquist.

The gallery is full of original artworks in a variety of sizes as well as jewelry, pottery, and small, unique gifts that are sure to please everyone on your list this year! We will be open every Tuesday and Thursday until December 22nd until 8 PM for holiday shopping in the gallery. Be sure to wear a mask.

Virtual Gallery Stroll “Alive In Color”

We are pleased to be featuring the artworks of Don Miskin and Laura Hope Mason in our gallery this month. The pandemic changed our plans for an artist reception and gallery stroll in April, but we got things up and going for a virtual tour in May and invite you to look at each art piece and schedule an appointment for a personal tour of the show!

Light and whispery soft, this piece hints at color but it is more about the subtle brushmarks and hidden textures beneath. Robin Egg tones meet peach that finally warm into golden greens at the bottom. Acrylic on panel framed in a maple float frame with a 1/4″ reveal.

Golden stacks of hay are captured in the light with the cool blue compliment of the mountain and sky as its backdrop.

With a clear separation of land and sky, the split composition softens greens and blues to meet on a hazy horizon in the center. Brush marks indicate soft clouds above and earth below.

An icon of our country, the American barn is quickly disappearing. Captured beautifully in this piece, the worn wood structure reveals light through its timber frame, a stately structure of the American Midwest.

Like something coming on the horizon, this piece rumbles with a light in the distance. While the rest is darkened by shades of grays and muddly blues, soft warmth at the bottom adds intrigue to the composition. Brush marks gesture rainfall and atmospheric clouds.

As if viewing distant sky and sea through layers of atmosphere, “Fog” quietly describes warm grays to cool blues and all the subtle tones in between.
