Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Steve Greenwood has chronicled the city’s growth, beauty and history against the magnificent backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains as well as capturing the diverse scenic beauty of Utah for more than 35 years. His ability to showcase popular landmarks in new and interesting ways is why Chambers of Commerce, state travel and tourism offices and national and local publishers alike have featured his photos in countless books, posters, magazines, calendars and postcards. Steve takes an enjoyment in capturing an image that moves him and others that view it.

National ParksThis is a view of Mount Moran, a prominent mountain in the Teton Range, as seen from the Oxbow Bend on the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming. This spectacular park is located near Jackson, Wyoming to the south and Yellowstone National Park to the north. It is known for its breathtaking views such as this as well as for viewing wildlife such as moose, elk, bison, bear and others. Grand Teton National Park, as we know it now, was established in 1929 by President Franklin Roosevelt.

The mountain reflects in a small lake at the Highline Trailhead near the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway and Marsh Marigold wildflowers are in the foreground. At 12,480 feet, Hayden Peak is a landmark visible from all around this area.
