Robin Grey

Robin has had a varied business background mainly in the UK where he was Managing Director of the Chem Dry Carpet Cleaning franchise. This involved building, what proved to be, the largest cleaning franchise in the UK and with his investment in Alpine Art in 1997 brought to the business an obsession for customer service, integrity and quality.

PRESIDENT

Apryll Killpack

Apryll has been involved in the art and framing business for over 20 years with business management, art consulting, customer service, & employee development experience. Her experience in fiscal planning, operational efficiency, building business relationships, problem solving, project management, staff supervision, training, and team building has helped in leading Alpine to where it is today. “I feel so fortunate to spend every day surrounded by art and to work with those who love and appreciate art. Everyone should be so lucky.”

OPERATIONS

Cathi Sutherland

Cathi has been framing for over 24 years and has been with Alpine Art since 1996. Her expertise is in helping customers to design the perfect framing for any project whether it is grandpa’s Boy Scout Patches, Family Photos or a 70-piece project for a Commercial Space. Cathi is one of a select few Certified Picture Framers in Utah, as an experienced framer her exquisite eye has directed numerous jobs. Her strong interpersonal communication & leadership skills are focused on customer satisfaction. “I love my job! My Art is Framing Your Art!”

Lynn Chambers
COMMERCIAL ART CONSULTANT

Lynn Chambers

Lynn Chamber has a BFA in painting and drawing and has 16 years of experience in the Commercial Interiors Industry. She is an Art Consultant for Alpine Art and specializes in working with clients to provide an art package that reflects and strengthens their corporate image, values and mission statement. Lynn has the ability to create corporate art packages that take into consideration the architectural design of a client’s space as well as interior furnishing and color schemes to create a cohesive and innovative corporate environment.

Curator

Susan Bonosconi

Susan has both Account Management and Design experience with over 15 years working in Commercial Interiors Industry. Her expertise is in administration, business development, project coordination management, and sales. As our Community Manager she is responsible for managing communications, PR, social media, events, and content creation. Susan holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Utah and an Associate Degree in business from the Salt Lake Community College.  She enjoys working with large corporations and individual clients to create beautiful spaces with a personal touch.

Printer/Project Manager

Courtney Webb

Courtney graduated in visual arts with an emphasis in photography. Her photographic work ranges from landscapes to engagements pictures. She loves the outdoors and playing sports. Courtney supports in designing artwork for Commercial packages at Alpine Art. She has an expertise in making a room feel at peace with image continuity.

Framing Specialist

Tony Henrichsen

Tony started working at Alpine Art in 2001, the same year as the Space Odyssey. He is incredibly talented and witty. He is an integral part in producing work for one of Alpine’s largest accounts. His primary responsibilities are to custom cut moulding and build frames. He is passionate about film-making and has won numerous awards for his work.

Framing Specialist

Laura Chiodo

Laura has been framing since September 2011. She is a native of Southern California, and has a particular love of photography and design, which she studied informally since high school. Laura is creative and calm. Working with five other framers, she keeps the group focused and the work flowing. She manages the material ordering process and makes sure projects come together as planned.

Connor Wilde-Mathie

Connor is a graduate from Westminster College earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts. She joined the Alpine team of framers in 2016 and has “enjoyed every minute working in this industry.” Being an artist, Connor’s life is centered in art. “I live and breathe it, so working at Alpine is just an extension of that. Whether it’s framing others’ works or helping to curate the gallery shows, I have found a connection to the local art community and love the stories and history that come along with framing clients’ most special pieces.” Connor spends her free time in the local art and music scene and loves to escape in the mountains with her love, Kolby and her two pups.

Ella Atherley

Ella has been framing for over 22 years. She began her framing career at Mac’s Craft & Hobby and then Reuel’s Art & Frame prior to joining our team of framers just over 2 years ago. “I have the best job in the world!” Ella exclaims. “The best part is working with my hands and making things beautiful.” She appreciates the talented group of framers she works with everyday. “Problem solving is a big part of framing. Every job is different and you have to figure things out using best restorative practices. We have a great team that is resourceful and creative.” On her days out of the frame shop, Ella continues to create making crafts, jewelry, and gardening. She enjoys spending time with her long-time love, Tom and their cats Riley and Asher.

Mia Godwin

Mia is currently working to obtain an Associates of Arts Degree at the Salt Lake Community College where she is studying figure drawing and painting. She appreciates the flexibility of her work schedule to accomplish her goals. Mia joined the framing team a year ago and loves being able to use her creativity and attention to detail to provide custom framing for her clients. “I’m doing something creative that is going to make people happy rather than just sitting behind a desk in gray cubicle.” When not working or going to school, Mia enjoys the outdoors with her dogs Bruce and Bella hiking and camping.

Brandy Withers

When we closed our sister company, The London Market in the winter of 2017, we acquired the talents and abilities of Brandy Withers. She is new to custom framing and is excited to work with talented, creative people who love art and help to preserve cherished memories. Her customer service experience and attention to detail makes her a valuable part of the team. From soup to nuts, you will find Brandy upfront assisting with administrative work or custom framing large production projects. She always has a happy, positive attitude and her laughter fills the gallery. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family of all boys and dogs Rome and Roxie . Brandy is an avid reader who enjoys gardening, and creating unique gifts for loved ones.

  • The strike of Black sanitation workers in Memphis in February 1968 was to demand better working conditions & higher pay after the tragic death of two sanitation workers were killed after taking shelter from a torrential rain storm in the back of their garbage truck. As Echol Cole & Robert Walker rode in the back of their garbage truck, an electrical switch malfunctioned. The compactor turned on & they were crushed by the compactor. The public works dept. refused to compensate their families. 11 days after their death, 1,300 black sanitation workers walked off the job, protesting horrible working conditions,
